The Future of Design meets at the Salone del Mobile Milano
From April 8 to 13, 2025, Milan once again became the world capital of furniture design with the celebration of the 63rd edition of the Salone del Mobile Milano, the most influential international furniture fair on the planet.
This event, which brings together the big names in design, innovation, and creativity, left no one indifferent and once again set the trends that will define furniture and interior design in 2025.
Trends that will define 2025
Sustainability continues to be the common thread in many of the proposals presented: recycled materials, eco-friendly production processes, and adaptable and durable furniture solutions dominated the exhibitions, events, and conferences.
In addition, special mention should be made of biophilic design —which integrates natural elements into interior spaces— as it is becoming clear it will gain ground as a key trend, promoting emotional well-being and a connection with nature, and facilitating the creation of friendly, soft, and peaceful spaces for rest.
Furthermore, as we have been anticipating from Rojas in previous articles, technology will continue to make its presence felt through smart furniture, lighting, and home automation solutions that are aesthetically integrated into the design, enhancing the functionality of furniture without compromising the beauty of finishes and designs.
Design leaders and iconic brands
This 63rd edition of the iconic furniture fair managed to gather more than 2,100 exhibitors from over 30 countries, achieving attendance figures close to 400,000 visitors.
Moreover, as we have come to expect, the Salone continues to bet on emerging talent with the SaloneSatellite, where designers under 35 years old showcased their proposals under the theme “New Craftsmanship: A New World,” focusing on the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and industrial innovation.
The Spanish participation
Of course, Rojas Contract did not miss its appointment in Milan. We were present with our creations and our furniture in the 5,500 m² divided into 10 pavilions assigned to our country.
In this way, we continue to strengthen our commitment to becoming a benchmark brand in the sector, bringing the quality of our designs, our innovative spirit, and our ability to capture the main trends directly to the end customer.
Without a doubt, this 2025 edition of the Salone del Mobile Milano has once again set the benchmark in the sector and has outlined on the canvas of this year the main guidelines for interior furniture design, combining functionality, beauty, and innovation, and transforming design into an inspiring proposal to meet the challenges of the present and the future.
